European Property Coin – 4

European Property Coin – 4 150 150 Safe or Scam Support

European Property Coin is a scam digital currency investment operated by Clear View Marketing Services Ltd, otherwise known as Clear View Trading. In January 2019 Safe Or Scam emailed investors who had contacted us over the previous nine months. We requested information on the bank accounts into which investors had been asked to pay their investment money. It has taken us a long time to break through the “data protection” and “client confidentiality” excuses that banks use to protect the identities of scammers, but we have finally managed it in the case of European Property Coin.

Investors are often shocked to learn that neither their own bank nor the recipient’s bank will tell them who owns the account that received their investment money. Even if the investor acts immediately and is successful in the long and arduous process of recovering money, neither bank will tell them the name of the account holder. By protecting scammers in this way the banks are preventing investors from being able to take any action in the courts to recover their money. It is not possible to take a party to court if you don’t know who they are !

It is quite an achievement for us to have found a way to lawfully force disclosure by the banks. So.…. going back to our request for information on the banks and bank accounts used by the Clear View scammers, we were expecting to find that they had moved around a bit. That is a standard practice by scam companies i.e to use an account for a while, close it down and then open a new account at another bank. Clear View has been scamming investors for almost three years so we expected to uncover maybe five or six accounts. At this moment in time we have discovered twenty one bank accounts. We expect that number to increase as some investors have yet to provide information.

The pleasing thing for us is that Clear View Trading / European Property Coin is a clear fraud. This means that the owners of those accounts were either founders or accomplices in the fraud. They will be facing criminal charges and that tends to loosen the tongues of those who don’t fancy going to prison. In amongst those accomplices are at least two accountants. One of them is Yasir Gul of G. and S. Accountants, formerly of Know Tax (High Wycombe) Ltd which was dissolved without filing any accounts. Mr Gul is an accountant (allegedly) and will know that it is a legal requirement to file closing accounts when a company is dissolved. That must have slipped his mind. Not a good advert for someone who claims to be an accountant.

The other accountant is Graham Andrew Arnott of Jade State Wealth. Mr Arnott seems to be a very bad judge of character because Jade State Wealth was involved with the £13.5m Essex and London Properties scam which was the subject of a fraud investigation. He also provided services to the Osage 1, Phenco and associated oil companies scam. These oil companies took in at least £14.5m.

Busy Start

Busy Start 150 150 Safe or Scam Support

The new year is only nine days old and our investigations into dodgy investments are back into full flow.

A low-cost legal action which was started in December against Clear View Marketing Services Ltd / European Property Coin took another step forward this week. We will be able to update investors on that at the end of the month.

The same is true of our action against a company involved in the huge StratXMarkets binary options scam. Lawyers representing the defendants in the claim appeared for the first time today. We think they will struggle to convince a court of their client’s innocence. Our client invested several hundred thousand pounds and they have failed to adequately respond to his claim or to explain their involvement. We think that as a result of our investigations this could easily end up with criminal charges being raised against the perpetrators.

Another conference call is arranged with a UK solicitor representing property owners in the Prosperity site at Bentley Court and Parkwood Court in Keighley. The call will be on 10th January where the solicitor will give an overview of his experience and an outline of the case against the opponents.

We have finally put a proposal to investors in the Essex and London Properties scam. It has taken a long time because of a Police investigation and the involvement of the Official Receiver but both a barrister and a UK solicitor believe there is a viable case against some of the parties involved. Conference calls with the solicitor are being set up so that investors can ask any questions they wish to raise.

The OurSpace Workspaces Ponzi Scheme investigation is going well. The administrator appointed by Kevan Halliwell / OurSpace Investments Ltd (Malta company) remains reluctant to answer straightforward and direct questions. We have had no answers to three emails, the earliest one was sent on 11th December 2018. In our opinion they are administrating a company that does not own the assets which Halliwell claims it does. Halliwell and Douglass tried to stitch up investors by removing the assets from investor control but they messed it up. This one will run for a long time. We asked the administration firm to advise us of their first contact with Kevan Halliwell and OurSpace. We asked if it was in 2017 when the asset transfer was being considered. They have not yet replied.

The Final Letter Before Action was issued to Simon Whittley of St Helier Capital Management Ltd, Win River Developments Ltd, Hawksbill Property Holdings PLC and others. There’s a lot of scams linked to one person. This one is another case in which the defendant has no viable defence. We are looking forward to investors having their day in court with this one. Even his long-term accomplice Simon Paler has been distancing himself from the companies in recent months.

Finally, we have held discussions with professional firms and investors over the action which can be taken against the oil investments run by three men – Martin Finch, Glenn Jamie King and David Alexander Hyman. The oil investment companies are Osage 1 Ltd, Phenco Ltd, Sooner-Energy SPV-1 Ltd, Kansas MB Project Ltd and Kansas B2 Project Ltd. Our investigations are continuing but we believe there is light at the end of the tunnel for investors.

We have probably missed a few off but it has been a very busy start. Our aim is to help ordinary investors recover some of their money from scammers and we are having some success.

European Property Coin – Update

European Property Coin – Update 150 150 Safe or Scam Support

Safe Or Scam has assisted investors with the first steps in a legal process against Clear View Marketing Services Ltd, the company behind the bogus digital currency called European Property Coin.

The company failed to respond to a legal claim within the statutory response period and our investor clients will now proceed to court.

On 21st December 2018 we received a letter from a solicitor representing Mr Yasir Gul of G. and S. Accountants Ltd. The letter alleges that comments we have made about Mr Yasir Gul have affected his business. He denies having received our letter sent in February 2018. That’s odd because we also sent it by email to his email address at info@gsaccountants.co.uk and we spoke to him on the phone about it. He told us at the time that his solicitor would deal with it.

To recap, our letter to Mr Gul asked him about the role of his company, Know Tax (High Wycombe) Ltd, which acted as the money collector for European Property Coin. We received no reply so we called him. He said his solicitor would be in touch. Well…… 9 months later his solicitor has now got in touch but it isn’t to answer our questions about Mr Gul’s involvement in European Property Coin, the scam which has taken in more than £1 million from ordinary members of the public. It was to ask us to remove comments made about Mr Yasir Gul. Unfortunately we cannot do that because he is party to a scam operation and is keeping his head down. If he wants us to remove information about him he should be more willing to co-operate. It is worth noting that at no time have we ever received any legal threats from European Property Coin despite repeatedly calling the product an outright scam. They know it’s a scam and they’re using fake names which is why they can’t go to a lawyer.

Since our contact in February, Mr Yasir Gul dissolved the company Know Tax (High Wycombe) Ltd in July 2018. He may think that means he doesn’t have to answer our questions. He may also think that instructing a solicitor will prevent us from mentioning him again in connection with his role in this scam. Well, as this new article shows, we have no intention of letting him get away with it. We have a clear strategy to expose European Property Coin and the people involved with it. Once we have accomplished that we will be turning our attention back onto Mr Yasir Gul.

In our letter of 23rd February 2018 we made things very clear to Mr Yasir Gul. In our final sentence. We wrote “We hope you are willing to assist because we take a very simple view when it comes to scams. People are either on the side of the victims or they are on the side of the scam operator.’

We recently changed the hosting arrangement for the website we published on this matter. We have now reinstated it and over the next few weeks we will be posting information back up. The website can be accessed by clicking on this link.
